Fashbash in Singapore

We had joined Fashbash, a fashion and beauty bazaar held at Red dot design Museum in Singapore. It was our first time but yet quite a successful. Hopefully, I'll join again next year.

Also we really enjoyed eating and walking around China Town Area.

Singapore steamed rice with chicken was so yummy.

This cafe has a very nice kopi and ice tea.

Art Festival at Neilson Hays Library

This year Crafitti joined the Art Festival at Neilson Hays Library. We have presented both our classic, silver and gold collections and we received a great feedback from visitors.

Also, it was a great place to see a lot of art works in painting, ceramic, photography and jewellery and to meet many creative people.

I've bought a very lovely notebook and a set of coaster from "Will". He's an artist from Chiangmai whose works are mostly related with elephants. I used to see his works before in Hong Kong but didn't know that he's from Thailand. The colorful elephants in different emotions have really caught my eyes at the first place and I'm so lucky to meet him in person at the festival. If you come to Chiangmai, don't forget to see and buy his works at Things Called Art studio.

This festival also has some arts demonstration and workshop for kids. It was interesting to see they baked a ceramic and the kids seem to enjoy molding their own ones.

I would like to thanks Flora from Flora Art Studio for inviting me to join this event. She's also a great artist in ceramic sculpture.

A Great Time in Chiang Mai

I haven't been to Chiang Mai for many years and this time when I come back here, So many things have changed. It becomes a more modern city that attracts many tourists. Here you can find many lovely cafe to chill out, many modern and luxurious spa to relax and many kind of restaurant you can enjoy your dinner. Also with lots and lots of things to shop.

However Chiang Mai becomes a city which can offer everything you need, their original culture and architecture still remains. I really enjoy walking around the center to see many beautiful Lanna (Thai northern style) houses and temples even though it made me sweat. Chiang Mai also has many wonderful natural places. Just a few miles from town, you can visit beautiful mountains and waterfall. It seems to be a place which has both facilities and inspirations.

New Collections - Faceted Gemstone

There were many times when I bought the stones from suppliers and saw many beautiful faceted gemstones and I kept thinking about the design to match the gemstones.

As I looked through our classic and silver collections, I thought that the gemstones can match with our existing designs too. However, to make them more elegant and dazzling, we use silver wire to create the new collections.

BIG + BIH

It was our first time we had an opportunity to present our jewelries on BIG + BIH Fair (Bangkok International Gift Fair and Bangkok International Houseware Fair). The fair is held twice a year to draw many buyers all around the world who seek the new ideas, unique designs and fresh inspiration for the joy of living.

Even though, we were only tiny part of the very big fair, we're glad that we have a chance to show our products to more people.

The Sand, The Sun, The Sky at Krabi

I've just back from Krabi, a lovely province in south of Thailand with many well known and beautiful beaches and islands.
How clear water it is in an island of Krabi.

To see the sand, the sun, the sky and the sea give me a lot of inspirations for my work. I think that most of our jewelries are inspired from nature because Thailand has many beautiful scenes including the mountains or the beaches. All of the scenes are in my memories and I want to share them through my jewelries.

Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair '08

The Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair has been held annually and this time is the 41st. There are many visitors and exhibitors from around the world attend the fair. This is my first time to attend the fair as a visitors. I was very excited to see many beautiful and unique designed jewelries. The material using to create the jewelries are varieties ranging from gold to silver as well as gemstones.

In the fair, you'll find many wholesales and entrepreneurs in the industries. It makes me realise how big the jewelry industry is. I've seen many collections from great designers which brings me lots of inspiration to create my own works.

I have a plan for the next year to open a booth in the fair in order to expand the brand as well as having an opportunities to meet up with the international buyers. Even though your not a Thai resident, if you're in the business area and interested to attend the fair as a visitor or even an exhibitor, you can contact the event holder for more details and information.

My friend's got an african pygmy hedgehog. His name is 'Kao-lad' which means chestnut.He's very adorable and funny. Since he is a small specie so he never throw his quills. His quills become my inspiration of the earrings. The earrings were created by used of brass cutting and hammered as a quill.

JJ market (Jatujak Market) is known as the biggest market in Bangkok, including over 15,000 shops. It's really a big market that you couldn't take a day to shop around. I've opened this shop for about a year now. It gives me an opportunity to meet the customers from around the world. I've furnished the shop by using variety sizes of golden frame. Many customers like them because they look likes shopping in an art gallery.
